Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a Certificate of Competency, valid for three years, which is required to apply for your Ohio Concealed Carry License at your local sheriff’s office. This certification ensures you meet the state’s training standards.

While Ohio law now permits permitless carry for qualified individuals aged 21 and over, the Ohio Attorney General strongly recommends completing this structured training. Proper education and hands-on experience are crucial for safely and responsibly carrying a concealed firearm.

Take control of your training with our flexible online CCW course! Complete the 6-hour online class anytime, anywhere, at your own pace, while learning directly from experienced instructors.

After finishing the online portion, you’ll attend one of our 2-hour in-person sessions at Premier Shooting & Training Center, where you’ll complete the hands-on range time and evaluation. This ensures you gain the practical skills and confidence needed to carry safely and responsibly.

The full program satisfies all state-mandated requirements for the Ohio Concealed Carry Permit. Upon completion, you’ll receive your Certificate of Competency and all the guidance necessary to apply for your permit with your local Sheriff’s Department.
