Mushin And What It Brings To Martial Arts Training

“Mushin” (無心) is a Japanese term derived from Zen Buddhism that literally translates to “mind-without-mind.” In physical pursuits, it means to train with a focus and degree that converts thoughtful actions into instinctual ones. With our Aikido philosophy and techniques, it further means honing those instincts so that they produce appropriate and effective results.

Lessons are taught under the experienced guidance of Sensei Dirk Domaschko, with specialties of Iaido (Drawing and cutting with the sword) and Jodo (Short staff), and Sensei Seth Lindberg.
